Food for Education provides nutritious meals to school children to combat hunger and improve educational outcomes. By ensuring no child learns on an empty stomach, they enhance academic performance and health. Their focus is on five core elements of the school feeding value chain: bulk sourcing from local farmers, sorting and storage in our 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse, central production of meals in large kitchens, distribution via insulated trucks, and their Tap2Eat payments technology using mobile money and NFC enabled wristbands. They collaborate with communities, schools, and stakeholders to ensure sustainable, impactful meal programs, promoting better education and a healthier future.
